TinyTalker saves your child's progress (learned words, favourite words, language setting) locally on your device only, using Hive — a lightweight local database.
This data never leaves the device and is never sent to any server.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the app is used — for example, which screens are visited most. This helps us improve the app.
Clarity collects anonymous, aggregated session data only (tap patterns, screen flow). It does not collect names, accounts, or any data that can identify a child or parent.
For more information, see Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
TinyTalker is directed to children under 13. We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
TinyTalker requests no device permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, or storage beyond its own app folder.
The only third-party service integrated is Microsoft Clarity (anonymous analytics). No advertising networks, social media SDKs, or data brokers are included.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted in the app's Play Store release notes.
